Some time ago I updated my server to Fedora 11, and the USB died. Right in the install, after it did the first reboot all USB was gone, which made it hard to use the USB keyboard. I was unable to figure out why, and didn't want to try to down-grade, so I just let it go for a while.
Well, it finally started working again. One of the below patches must have fixed the problem, because my USB UPS suddenly came on line after this reboot.
