The Pod Chest(tm) is a new addition to the POD world. It's a place where Amphipods and Copepods can safely congregate, throw parties and hang out, without having to worry about predators. Each chest unit contains 40 individual serpentine chests, all connected to the central atrium. A total of about two feet of linear space, or about 35.2 square inches (227 cm^2) of space is provided for our little friends.
The central atrium serves another purpose though. Cover the hole with your thumb and move the chest to the display tank, then use a baster to blast water in the central hole. All the ne'er-do-well slacker pods that are hanging around the chest will be blasted out in to the tank, to make tasty treats for your fish! Replace the chest in your sump, and let the new tenants move in.
Each unit has about 4 oz (120 grams) of PETG, and measures about 3" x 3" (75mm x 75mm). Available standard in translucent blue, and other colors via special request (minimum order quantity for special colors is four units).
Unit is easily flushed out with water from a turkey baster, or deep cleaned by soaking in vinegar. Deep cleaning is not needed, as the detritus is fed on by the amphipods.

BAS will repair or replace any unit that is returned to us (no COD please) that is no longer functional, at no cost, as long as it has not be obviously abused (shipping not included).

Plastic items are printed in PETG, which is fully food and reef safe. The printing process is not perfect, and some visible defects (as shown in the pictures) may exist.

All magnets are N50 Neodymium Magnet (NdFeB Rare Earth), and are epoxy coated at the magnet factory for rust resistance. They are then encased in PETG plastic for extra protection.
Use care with them, they are strong and can really jump. Keep away from pacemakers or children under 5 years old.
